Globally women are still being discriminated against because of their sex, shocking! One would have thought that in this day and age we could live in a world of gender equality. Yet there are millions of women who struggle daily for their rights.

“The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights,” says world-renowned feminist, journalist and social and political activist Gloria Steinem. Therefore International Women’s Day is about celebrations, unity, encouragement and action.
