Soccerex, the global leader for the business of football returned to South Africa with a new event – The Soccerex African Forum. The two day event was held in Durban from 23 – 24 October 2012 at the Southern Sun Elangeni and will return to Durban as an annual event for the next two years.

Shades of Green Events was appointed by Scan Display Solutions (whom were awarded the tender with Soccerex African Forum for 2012) to manage the exhibition component on behalf of Scan from appointment to completion. Shades of Green Events provided a full exhibition management service and in particular the role included but was not limited to the following:

• Infrastructure – managing all infrastructure requirements and coordinating the design and production process.
• Quotes – preparing all quotes for the client on Scan’s behalf.
• Exhibitor and Service Provider Management – coordinating all queries and sales related to service orders including exhibitor manual development.
• Communications – coordinating all suppliers on behalf of Scan Display.
• Client Management – attending meetings and handling all requests for the client.
• Finance – managing all aspects of finance from budget, invoicing to debt collection.
• Reporting – preparing a full cost analysis report for Scan Display.
